This project reimagined a 1970s Besser block apartment building near the iconic MCG, transforming it into a sought-after modern hotel blending brutalist architecture and contemporary design.

Beyond the interiors, the transformation extended to a thoughtfully designed landscape, centred around a focal gum tree. Carefully curated to maximize its presence, the outdoor spaces seamlessly blend urban sophistication with natural greenery. Balancing heritage, texture, and contemporary design, this reinvention breathes new life into a once-forgotten structure, creating a unique stay just moments from Melbourne’s sporting and cultural heart.
